Strangers

This was supposed to be a poem but it turned out to be a song. Unfortunately, I don't have musical talent to finish the song.

Strangers
by Sarah Marzuki

We're both know we're afraid,
afraid of what will happen,
or what might people say,
if we're actually an item?

Strangers, that's what we have become,
Strangers, that's what we have become.

We decided to built a wall,
before we could feel the fall,
we think it's the best to walk away,
instead of just sit through the whole thing and stay.

Baby, now we're strangers,
that's what we have become.
I can't believe now we're strangers,
sadly that's what we have become.

Remember those nights we had spent,
we talked until we forgot to sleep,
nonsense, inside jokes and sweet nothings,
only you can understand them all,
now they were all in the past.

Strangers, that's what we have become,
Strangers, that's what we have become.
